LUBRICATION

Chainsoperatingathighspeedscomparabletothoseonmotorcyclesshouldbeusedinconjunctionwithanoilbath.Formodernmotorcyclesthisisnotpossible,andmostmotorcyclechainsrununprotected.As a result,motorcyclechainstendtowearveryquicklyrelativetootherapplications.Theyaresubjecttoextremeforcesandareexposedtorain,filth,sandandroadsalt.
